CCSCE develops long-term state and regional job, population and household projections for use in infrastructure and regional land use and transportation planning. CCSCE recently worked with two regional councils of government in California - the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) and the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG). CCSCE developed long-term regional projections which are the starting point for regional discussions of growth, land use, transportation and infrastructure. The SCAG and SACOG efforts may be followed on their websites - www.scag.ca.gov and www.sacog.org.

Since 2003, CCSCE has annually prepared projections of sales tax revenue for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority.

Summaries of CCSCE's long-term projections are published in California Economic Growth and California County Projections.
