California Regional Economies Project

CCSCE is a research partner in the California Regional Economies Project. The California Economic Strategy Panel and the California Workforce Investment Board sponsor the project.

The project began in 2003-2004 and is ongoing. First year products include:

1. Nine regional economic base analyses (LA, Bay Area, San Diego-named Southern Border-and Sacramento regional reports were prepared by CCSCE)
2. Cluster analyses for each region and
3. Policy-related monographs.

The 2005 analyses and papers are being posted as they are completed on the project website: www.labor.ca.gov/panel.
